H Διευθύντρια και Συντονίστρια Περιεχομένου του Κ.Ελ.Α.Λ.Π. / CulturePolis, κυρία Πέρσα Κουμούτση, προσκεκλημένη στο πανεπιστήμιο του Zayed (ΗΑΕ)
Με επιτυχία πραγματοποιήθηκε η διαδικτυακή διάλεξη της Διευθύντριας και Συντονίστριας Περιεχομένού του Κέντρου Ελληνικής και Αραβικής Λογοτεχνίας και Πολιτισμού - Κ.Ελ.Α.Λ.Π. της CulturePolis, της κυρίας Πέρσας Κουμούτση, συγγραφέας και μεταφράστρια αραβικής λογοτεχνίας, στο πανεπιστήμιο του Zayed (ΗΑΕ) με θέμα "Η Ιστορία ως πηγή έμπνευσης για την Λογοτεχνία: Αραβική και Ελληνική Λογοτεχνία της Διασποράς (Από το 1900-Σήμερα)".
Η διάλεξη πραγματοποιήθηκε διαδικτυακά στα αγγλικά, μέσω της πλατφόρμας ΖΟΟΜ, στις 9 Νοεμβρίου 2021, ώρα 10:30 π.μ. (ώρα Ελλάδας).

CulturePolis - K.EL.A.L.P.: Meeting with the Corfu Reading Club

Continuing its fruitful collaboration with the Corfu Reading Club, Culturepolis held an online event (physical presence only of the Club members and CulturePolis executives) on Friday, 2 October, 2020, at 20.00 at the Corfu Palace Hotel, a special event where its partner Mrs. Persa Koumoutsi, distinguished author and translator of Arabic literature (https://culturepolisngo.wixsite.com/persa-koumoutsi?lang=en) presented her rich literary and translation work and discussed in particular her book "Alexandrian Voices on Lepsious Street" (Published by METAΙΧΜΙΟ) under publication and in Arabic language.
CulturePolis - K.EL.A.L.P.: Meeting with the Second Chance School of Corfu Prisons

The meeting of the author and translator of Arabic literature, Persa Koumoutsi, with teachers and students of the Second Chance School of Corfu Prisons, was completed successfully, in the context of the official opening of the work / events of the Center of Greek and Arabic Literature and Culture-K.EL.A.L.P.
Mrs Koumoutsi spoke about the social role of literature, pointing out that interactivity composes one of its important elements, while relying, among other things, on the otherness that has always aimed at understanding human behavior, whatever its origin or condition. The meeting took place after the invitation of the director of the Second Chance School Mr. Kyriakos Kolesis and the teaching staff.
Afterwards, the School staff and the speaker had a working meeting with the President of CulturePolis V. Laopodis, where they discussed ways to further strengthen the exemplary work of the school.

The need for dialogue and for an "opening" towards a socially, politically, culturally, and religiously different culture, has always been a matter of major importance that concerned human history. Every culture is connected to the core of the society in which it is developed. Nevertheless, no culture can evolve without communicating with others.

CulturePolis - KELALP: 1η ΨΗΦΙΑΚΗ ΛΕΣΧΗ ΑΝΑΓΝΩΣΗΣ στην Κέρκυρα
Η CulturePolis σε συνεργασία με τη Λέσχη Ανάγνωσης Κέρκυρας πραγματοποίησαν διαδικτυακά με μεγάλη επιτυχία στις 3 Ιουλίου 2020, ώρα 20.00 στην αίθουσα της Ιατροχειρουργικής Εταιρείας Κέρκυρας, την 1η πιλοτικής εφαρμογής της νεας πρωτοβουλίας της CulturePolis “Ψηφιακή Λέσχη Ανάγνωσης” – ΨΗ.Λ.Α’ , με φυσική παρουσία μόνο των μελών της Λέσχης και στελεχών της CulturePolis και διαδικτυακή σύνδεση προσκεκλημένων ειδικών συνεργατών από την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό.
Η εκδήλωση αυτή στην Κέρκυρα εντασσόταν στις πιλοτικές δράσεις για δημιουργία ενός ψηφιακού δικτύου, που θα φέρει κοντά τα μέλη των Λεσχών Ανάγνωσης στην Ελλάδα και σε επόμενη φάση μέσω μεταφράσεων και ψηφιακών εργαλείων στον Αραβικό κόσμο και στην ευρύτερη περιοχή της νοτιο-ανατολικής Ευρώπης -Μεσογείου, με στόχο την καλύτερη κατανόηση του “‘Αλλου” μέσω του πολιτισμού, και είναι η πρώτη που γίνεται υπό την αιγίδα του νεοσύστατου “Κέντρου Ελληνικής και Αραβικής Λογοτεχνίας και Πολιτισμού”- ΚΕΛΑΛΠ : https://culturepolisngo.wixsite.com/kelalp.
Η προσκεκλημένη ομιλήτρια κυρία Πέρσα Κουμούτση, διακεκριμένη συγγραφέας και μεταφράστρια αραβικής λογοτεχνίας (https://culturepolisngo.wixsite.com/persa-koumoutsi) αλλά και συνεργάτιδα της CulturePolis και συντονίστρια του ΚΕΛΑΛΠ, παρουσίασε το πλούσιο συγγραφικό και μεταφραστικό έργο της και τόνισε τη διάσταση της καλύτερης κατανόησης του “‘Αλλου” μέσω της λογοτεχνίας και συζήτησε με τα μέλη της Λέσχης πάνω στο θέμα αυτό.

Με μεγάλη επιτυχία πραγματοποιήθηκε η συνάντηση με τη συγγραφέα Πέρσα Κουμούτση, στο πλαίσιο των εκδηλώσεων «Συζητώντας με τους συγγραφείς στη Βιβλιοθήκη». Η κα Κουμούτση μίλησε για την πολιτισμική πορεία του Ελληνισμού της Αιγύπτου, τη σχέση των δύο πολιτισμών και τη γνωριμία της με τον Νομπελίστα συγγραφέα Ναγκίμπ Μαχφούζ. Με τη συγγραφέα συνομίλησε η συγγραφέας και βιβλιοκριτικός Ελένη Γκίκα, ενώ αποσπάσματα διάβασε η Πωλίνα Γουρδέα. Παράλληλα προβλήθηκε οπτικό υλικό.
